Vejzovic, a former member of the reserve police forces from Stupari, is suspected of having abused Serb civilians who were unlawfully held in teachers’ buildings in the old Local Community building in Stupari, Kladanj municipality, during the summer of 1992 and in January 1993.“The Court has determined that there is a grounded suspicion that the suspect committed the crime and ordered him into custody due to existence of circumstances indicating that there is a danger that he might flee. While making the decision, the Court has considered the fact that the suspect lives in Finland and that he has a permanent residence and working permit in that country, as well as the fact that he advisedly avoided visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina said in its announcement.Vejzovic was arrested on February 22 this year.
