Dragan Petkovic Arrested On Suspicion of Sarajevo War Crimes

The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested Dragan Petkovic, known as Kupres, on suspicion of having committed war crimes against civilians in Sarajevo in 1992.

The state prosecution announced that Petkovic was a member of the Bosnian Serb Army and is suspected of having committed crimes against non-Serb civilians in the neighbourhoods of Nahorevo and Kromolj in Sarajevo in June and July 1992.

Following Petkovic’s examination, the state prosecution will decide whether to request custody measures.
