The state prosecution has charged Goran Vujovic, Miroslav Duka and Zeljko Ilic with the abuse of Bosniak and Croat civilians in Bileca during 1992.

According to the charges, Vujovic was the chief of the public safety station in Bileca, Duka was the station commander, while Ilic was a police officer.

The state prosecution also included the medical documentation of two detainees in the case file, in order to confirm testimony from witnesses who described the health consequences of their detention in Bileca.

Prosecutor Behaija Krnjic also presented evidence indicating the existence of a widespread and systematic attack on the territory of Eastern Herzegovina. Several newspaper articles containing the Hague Tribunal’s markings were included in the case file. The articles refer to war crimes committed in Bileca.

The defense teams objected to the relevance, lawfulness and authenticity of most of the evidence presented.

The trial will continue on December 14. Vujovic’s first witness will be examined at the next hearing.
