Bunoza Fails to Appear at Hearing, Trial Postponed
The examination of three state prosecution witnesses at the trial of Mirko Bunoza, Edhem Godinjak and Medaris Saric, charged with war crimes in Trnovo, has been postponed due to the absence of Bunoza at today’s hearing.

The Bosnian state court called the defendant over the phone. He said he was at home and thought the hearing was scheduled for next Tuesday, November 10.
Bunoza, Godinjak and Saric have been charged with participating in a joint criminal enterprise aimed at killing and detaining Serb civilians in the Trnovo area.
The indictment alleges that Bunoza was the commander of Croatian Defense Forces units in the area, Godinjak was the chief of police in Trnovo and Saric was the commander of the Territorial Defense in Trnovo.
The next hearing is scheduled for November 24.
