The court announced that Bajraktarevic was ordered into custody due to a possibility that he might interfere with the proceedings by influencing witnesses and accomplices, as well as destroying evidence.

The prosecution suspects him of torture, abuse, beating, rape and forcing Bosniak victims to have sexual intercourse with him.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina suspects him of having committed crimes against members of the then National Defense of the Western Bosnia Autonomous Region in his capacity as a member of the Fifth Corps with the Bosnian Army. The victim were held in an improvised prison at the Command of the 505th Brigade of the Bosnian Army, which was situated in Radoc motel in Buzim.

The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested Bajraktarevic on April 6.
