Witness SG-3 said that he was sent from Jahorina to a field mission in Srebrenica on July 11, 1995, adding that he went to Potocari the following day. As he said, while he was in the field, he witnessed the murders of Muslim civilians.
“I saw Nedjo Milidragovic killing people. He killed them by shooting at them on their napes from a pistol. I saw that he killed four or five persons and then I left. When I came back later on, I saw dead people,” witness SG-3 said.
He said that, while he was in the field, he saw a disabled man in one of the houses and informed Nedjo Milidragovic about it.
“He was lying on the floor. His wheelchair was next to him. He was skinny. One could see that he was not able to move. I told Nedjo: ‘There is one more over there’ and I left,” the witness said, adding that he did not know what happened to the disabled man, but he heard shooting afterwards.
The witness also said that members of the Jahorina Special Squad participated in the separation of men.
“They put women and children into houses and held men separately. Their belongings were scattered all over the place around the houses,” he said, adding that, at that time it was not clear to him what was going on and that he ran away from there in the evening on July 13.
He said that he did not know whether he saw Goran Saric on Mount Jahorina but a person with the same name was an inspector from Banja Luka.
Saric is charged with having commanded police forces, which participated in the search, disarming and forced relocation of women, children and the elderly, as well as the separation of men and boys, who were executed in the Srebrenica area later on.
According to the charges, he issued an order to members of police to guard the road between Bratunac and Konjevic Polje and capture men, who were trying to leave the Srebrenica protected zone through the woods.
The trial is due to continue on December 22 with the examination of a Prosecution witness.
