The prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment for the crimes committed in Jablanica against Mirsad “Deba” Tahirovic, former member of the Zulfikar detachment with the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Tahirovic, who was arrested yesterday, on October 16, is charged with beating and torturing Croats who were locked up in the Battle of Neretva Museum and Rogica Houses, between July and October 1993.

“Detained civilians and prisoners were inflicted with severe bodily injuries, forced to do Islamic prayer, while the defendant with accessories robbed one prisoner, seizing from him a large amount of money which was stored in his house in Jablanica,” said the indictment.

The indictment was sent to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for approval.
