The State Court did not accept a State Prosecution’s custody order motion, so it released the four suspects under prohibiting measures, including a ban on meeting and contacting the other suspects and witnesses and a ban on getting closer than 100 metres away from them.

“In case the suspects violate the ordered prohibiting measures, they may be ordered into custody,” the Court of BiH announced.

Curic, Demirovic, Kreso and Copelj, former members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, are suspected of having committed crimes in the Potoci area, Mostar municipality, and having participated in the arrests of Croats, as well as torture of people in “Omorikine” and “Skenderine” buildings as well as a school building in Potoci.

The State Prosecution alleges that more than 107 persons, including women, children and the elderly, were held in detention and that several detainees died.
