The prosecution on Wednesday indicted Mujkic, a former member of the 102nd Brigade of the Croatian Defence Council, for alleged crimes against Bosnian Serb civilians who were illegally detained at the primary school in Odzak and the nearby village of Novi Grad.

He is charged with eight counts of inhumane acts and the abuse and torture of prisoners from May to August 1992.

According to the charges, two people died from the abuses.

The indictment has been sent to the state court for confirmation.
