Plea Hearing for Bileca Crimes Due Next Week

Indictees Nedjeljko Kuljic and Zeljko Ilic are due to appear before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina next week in order to enter their plea to the charges that they committed crimes in Bileca in 1992.

Kuljic and Ilic, whose plea hearing is scheduled for Monday, May 12, are charged with having persecuted the non-Serb population and participated in the abuse of detainees in their capacity as policemen with the Public Safety Station in Bileca. 

On Tuesday, May 13 the Defence of Edin Dzeko, who is charged with crimes against Croats in Trusina village, near Konjic, and Jablanica in 1993, is due to continue presenting its closing statement.

On that same day the trials are due to continue in the case against Aleksandar Cvetkovic, who is charged with genocide in Srebrenica, Ivan Zelenika, Srecko Herceg, Ivan Medic, Edib Buljubasic and Marina Grubisic-Fejzic, who are charged with crimes in “Dretelj” detention camp, near Capljina, as well as Predrag Milisavljevic, Milos Pantelic and Ljubomir Tasic, who are indicted for crimes in Visegrad, and Oliver Krsmanovic, who too is charged with crimes in Visegrad.  

On Monday indictee Nihad Bojadzic is due to continue testifying about crimes in Trusina. Bojadzic is on trial, along with Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Nedzad Hodzic and Senad Hakalovic. On that same day the trials are due to continue in the case against Goran Saric, who is charged with genocide in Srebrenica, and Dragan Sekaric for crimes in Visegrad.  

On Wednesday, May 14 the Prosecution of BiH is due to continue presenting evidence at the trial of Ostoja Stanisic and Marko Milosevic, who are charged with genocide in Srebrenica, while four State Prosecution witnesses are due to be examined at the trial of Vitomir Rackovic, who is charged with crimes in the Visegrad area.

The trials of Nikola Maric, who is charged with crimes in Prozor, and Mustafa Djelilovic, Fadil Covic, Mirsad Sabic, Nezir Kazic, Becir Hujic, Halid Covic, Serif Mesanovic and Nermin Kalember, who are indicted for crimes in Hadzici, are due to continue on Thursday, May 15, when new State Prosecution witnesses will be examined. 

The trials of Safet Mujcinovic, Selman Busnov, Nusret  Muhic, Zijad Hamzic, Ramiz Halilovic, Nedzad Hodzic, Hariz Habibovic, Osman Gogic and Kahro Vejzovic, who are charged with crimes in Kladanj, Vehid Subotic, who is indicted for crimes in Dusina (Zenica municipality), as well as Josip Tolic, who is charged with crimes in Odzak and Bosanski Brod, are due to continue on Friday next week.
