The remains of Bego Hatunic, who was born in Vlasenica on April 18, 1926, were found at Micivode village locality, Sokolac municipality.

This is the ninth identified victim. The funeral procession of this and the other eight victims will depart from the Commemorative Center in Tuzla at 4 p.m. on Friday. 

A collective burial of the nine identified victims will take place at Rakita Muslim cemetery in Vlasenica on Saturday, April 19.

In addition to Hatunic, Aida Karac, Velida Karac, Avdo Heljo, Samir Begic, Izet Hadzic, Hasan Manjic, Adem Becirovic and Ahmet Manjic will be buried on that day.

These Bosniaks were killed in the Vlasenica area in 1992.

The Balkan Investigative Reporting Network of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BIRN BiH, the “Forgotten Children of War” Association, and the Srebrenica Memorial Centre presented a Database of Judicially Established Facts about the War and a handbook, How to Learn ad Teach about the War in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a tool for educating young people, combatting denial and relativization of verdicts, and building peace and mutual understanding.
