The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina has not managed to prepare for the examination of its witness, so the trial of Nihad Bojadzic, former Deputy Commander of “Zulfikar” Squad of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, has been postponed.

Prosecutor Behaija Krnjic told the Trial Chamber that his colleague Vesna Budimir, who was in charge of this case, informed him right before the hearing that she would not be able to appear in court, because she got sick.

As he explained, considering the short time available, none of the prosecutors was able to prepare himself for the examination of the witness.

Bojadzic is on trial for having beaten up, sexually abused and raped Croats, who were detained in “The Battle of Neretva” Museum in Jablanica in 1993.

The trial is due to continue on February 27.
