The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that it was informed that Veselinovic was released from the Penal and Correctional Facility in Eastern Sarajevo on June 19 this year.
 
After having concluded a guilt admission agreement with the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, he was sentenced, by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 30, 2009, to seven-and-a-half years in prison for crimes against humanity committed in the Hadzici area.
 
The former member of military police of the Republika Srpska Army was sentenced for having unlawfully arrested civilians in villages in Hadzici municipality and enabled others to mistreat the civilians and commit impure actions against them from the beginning of May 1992 to the end of 1992.
 
Under the guilt admission agreement, Veselinovic admitted having entered Sifet Hrvat’s building and taking him away. Hrvat has been missing since. Also, he admitted having been present when Mujesira Piknjac was killed in Donji Hadzici.
 
Veselinovic was arrested in November 2007. He has been held in custody and has served his sentence in prison since.
