As explained by Trial Chamber Chairman Darko Samardzic, witness OK-22 expressed readiness to come, but she was not able to appear at the hearing, because she underwent a minor surgery.

Her testimony was postponed until October 15. It was planned that, on Tuesday, October 1 the Trial Chamber and other parties to the proceeding would visit locations in Visegrad that are mentioned in the indictment.

“It is planned that we shall visit the places at which witnesses were,” Samardzic said.

The indictment alleges that Krsmanovic, former member of the Second Podrinje Light Infantry Brigade with the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, is charged with having participated in the murders, rape, torture and other inhumane acts against Bosniak civilians.
