Brkan and Macic, former members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, are charged with having killed four old Serb women in Blace village in June 1992. Besides that, Macic is charged with having participated in the torture and sexual abuse of prisoners in the “Musala” school building in Konjic. The trial is due to begin on Friday, July 5.
 
On Monday, July 1 the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is due to consider a guilt admission agreement concluded between Radoslav Knezevic and the State Prosecution. Under a first instance verdict, Knezevic was sentenced to 23 years in prison for having participated in the murder of about 200 men at Koricanske stijene. According to the agreement, it is proposed that he be sentenced to between 12 and 15 years in prison.
 
A hearing in the case of Petar Civcic and others is due to be held on Monday as well, but the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina was not able to say what was planned for this hearing. The parties previously presented their appeals against a first instance verdict, under which Petar Civcic and Branko Topola were acquitted of charges for crimes at Koricanske stijene, while Marinko Ljepoja was sentenced to 23 years in prison.
 
On Thursday, July 4 appeals are due to be presented before the Appellate Chamber against a first instance verdict, under which Drazen Mikulic was sentenced to six years in prison for crimes in Dretelj, near Capljina.
 
In the coming week appeals are due to be presented in the case of Albina Terzic, who was sentenced, under a first instance verdict, to five years in prison for crimes against civilians in Odzak in 1992. At the beginning of this year the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that it would file an appeal against the verdict, requesting the Court to sentence Terzic to a long-term imprisonment. The session is scheduled for Friday.
 
The trials of Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Senad Hakalovic, Nedzad Hodzic, Nihad Bojadzic and Zulfikar Alispago, who are charged with crimes in Trusina village, and Savo Babic, who is charged with crimes in Bratunac, are due to continue on Monday.
 
The trial of Oliver Krsmanovic, who is charged with crimes in Visegrad, is scheduled for Tuesday, July 2.
 
On Wednesday, July 3 a new Defence witness is due to be examined at the trial of Milun Kornjaca, who is charged with crimes in Cajnice. New Defence witnesses will be examined at the trial of Zeljko Jukic, who is charged with crimes in Prozor. The hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
 
The continuation of the trial of Zemir Kovacevic, who is charged with crimes in Bosanski Brod, is planned for Monday and Wednesday.

In the week ahead the retrials are due to continue before the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the case against Nisvet Gasal, Musajb Kukavica and Senad Dautovic, who are charged with crimes in Bugojno, as well as Milan Peric, Spasoje Doder, Predrag Terzic and Aleksandar Cerovina for crimes in Kalinovik.
