“Subotic and other Brigade members surrounded houses in Dusina village. He then ordered about 40 civilians and a few disarmed members of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, be taken prisoners and lined up in the vicinity of one of the houses. Acting in collaboration with other soldiers, he separated eight Croat civilians from the rest of the group, escorted them to that house and ordered members of the Company to kill them, saying that each of them should kill one civilian,” the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina says in its announcement.
It is further alleged that he singled out a civilian from the group. A Company member then fired a burst of bullets at the civilian, who fell to the ground. The indictee ordered him to fire another round of bullets at him.
The announcement says that the indictee then began physically abusing another civilian.
“He then approached a third civilian and ordered him to walk in front of him. While the civilian was walking, he fired a burst of bullets from an automatic gun. The civilian died due to injuries caused by the bullets,” the announcement says.
After that he allegedly killed four more civilians, acting in collaboration with other soldiers.
The indictment has been filed with the State Court for confirmation.
