According to the presented evidence, the civilians, including two children, were killed during an attack on Serdari village, Kotor-Varos municipality on September 17, 1992.
The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina charges the attack on Serdari upon Fikret Planincic, Rasim Lisancic, Sead Menzil and Mirsad Vatrac, former members of the Territorial Defence in Kotor-Varos.
The Defence of the indictees did not object to these pieces of the Prosecution’s evidence.
Also, Prosecutor Dragan Corlija presented, as material evidence, an official document issued by the Territorial Defence Headquarters in Kotor-Varos, saying that he wanted to prove that a local watch was organised in villages in the Kotor-Varos area prior to June 1992 and that the Bosniak population was ready for an attack and armed.
The Defence of the indictees objected to the lawfulness and authenticity of this piece of evidence.
Other pieces of evidence that were presented at this hearing included military records for indictees Fikret Planincic and Sead Menzil, indicating the dates on which they became members of the Territorial Defence in Kotor-Varos.
Planincic was member of the Territorial Defence in Kotor-Varos from June to November 1992, while Menzil was its member from August 1, 1992 until moving to Travnik, the Prosecutor said.
The Defence of Planincic and Menzil said that this piece of information was incorrect.
The trial is due to continue on October 9.
