Four Hearings Cancelled

Four hearings that were due to be held before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the war crimes trials have been cancelled due to the bad weather conditions in Sarajevo, where a state of emergency was declared.

The trials that were scheduled to take place on Monday, February 6 referred to the crimes in Srebrenica, Cajnice, Trusina village, near Konjic and Grbavica, Vraca and Kovacici, Sarajevo.

Genocide in Srebrenica is charged upon Dusko Jevic, Mendeljev Djuric, Goran Markovic and Nedjo Ikonic, former members of the Jahorina Training Centre with the Special Brigade of Republika Srpska police.

Dusko Kornjaca, Milorad Zivkovic and Dusko Tadic, are charged with crimes in Cajnice, while the crimes committed in Trusina village are charged upon Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin, Nedzad Hodzic, Senad Hakalovic, Nihad Bojadzic and Zulfikar Alispago, former members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Veselin Vlahovic, known as Batko, former member of paramilitary formations, is on trial for crimes in Grbavica, Vraca and Kovacici.E.M.
