The DNA samples were taken from the remains of these victims, and they will be transferred to the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) Identification Centre in Tuzla, for precise identification and forensic processing.

In addition to representatives of the Bosnia and Herzegovina‘s Institute for Missing Persons and the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), the exhumation was attended by the ICMP’s anthropologist, the Ministry of Interior of the Central Bosnia Canton representatives and the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina investigator.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with other institutions who are involved in the process of searching for missing persons in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will continue its activities in exhumation and searching for missing people in all areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
